Рэд Рам - лошадь легенда. На его счету пять стартов в самом сложном и опасном стипль-чезе планеты -Национальном Ливерпульском Гранд Нэйшнл. Три раза (1973,1974 и 1977) Рэд Рам был первым на финише и дважды (1975 и 1976) вторым. Также, на его счету победы и призовые места в более мелких стипль-чезах. Такого успеха не достигала ни одна лошадь в истории Стипль-чезов вообще и Ливерпульского Гранд Нэйшнл в частности. Пал Рэд Рам в почтенном возрасте в 1995 году, до самой своей смерти выводя участников Ливерпульского Гранд-нэйшнл на парад перед скачкой. Великому скакуну стоит памятник на ипподроме в Эйнтри, где ежегодно весной и разыгрывается этот, самый сложный и трудный из всех стипль-чезов.
